You may submit up to three (3) art works.  Max artwork size: 60” x 60” framed.  Sculpture no heavier than 100 lbs. All media accepted. All work must be for sale with 40% commission to BDG.


You can send up to 3 artwork images (with detail  image if needed) all on a CD and mailed with your entry fee of $35, and all contact information. Images should be at 300 dpi, and at least 5" on longest side.
Each image file needs to be labeled with your last name, title, size. On a separate word file, all contact information, titles, media, size and price (include 40% gallery commission)

Digital images (100 dpi and 8 inches on longest side). As attachments to your e-mailed application: Image Files Numbered/TITLE.  In the body of the e-mail, please provide the following:

All-MEDIA ARTISTS DEMO AND EXHIBITION


#27  SHOW & TELL 4

 

 


 

We are revisiting the last three year’s highly successful SHOW and TELL exhibitions with a new SHOW AND TELL4,  scheduled from June 2 through June 30, 2012.

 

We are inviting proposals from artists working in all media.  Please send images of your work and tell us how you would explain or demonstrate your work/techniques/materials to the general public. Twelve to fifteen artists will be chosen for this unique opportunity to show their work in the beautiful  Blue Door Gallery and also be present to illustrate their techniques to the public on one Saturday each during the five week exhibition.

BLUE DOOR GALLERY presents

 

NEW YORK RIVERLIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Call for artists and filmmakers

 

This summer sees the first Riverlight Film Festival open in Yonkers. Running with a video art exhibition at the gallery, the film festival will be screening it's selected films at a brand new state of the art cinematic screening room, that seats up to 400, located in the Yonkers Library.The festival will be a wonderful celebration of art and film in the community. 

 

Firstly - we are looking for artists to design a logo with lettering for the festival, this will go on all the advertising materials of the festival and have massive exposure for the winning logo. The logo must include an image and the lettering of the festival and the dates (see above - July 26th-August 4th). It is only $10 to enter this competition. DEADLINE FOR LOGO DESIGN: FEBRUARY 25th 2011

 

The Film Festival is seeking submissions from film makers in the following categories:

Feature: (60 mins+)

Short Film: (30 mins or less)

Student: (less than 15 mins)

 

PLEASE NOTE INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES 

 

Documentaries are welcomed and can be included in each of the categories. 

Student films must be made by students currently studying. Please include details of your education in your application.

 

Film submission deadline: JUNE 1st

All films must be submitted by June 1st, 2012.
