Fourth ANNUAL BLUE DOOR ARTIST ASSOCIATION MEMBERS JURIED EXHIBITION
Submission DEADLINE MONDAY FEBRUARY 6TH March 24 to April 21, 2012 At BLUE DOOR GALLERY Riverdale Avenue (south of Main Street) Yonkers, NY JUROR: ELLEN KEITER, Curator of Contemporary Art, The Katonah Museum of Art Members of The Blue Door Artist Association will have the opportunity to display their work in this special members-only exhibition. If you are not yet a member, this is a great time to join or renew your membership to be part of this exciting, highly publicized gallery and to have all member-benefits, including a free web page at www.bluedoorart.org. BDAA Membership $40 (Jan-Dec 2012) And BDG#25 Exhibition Entry fee: $35 Your membership needs to be current (paid for 2012) which may be your case.

You may submit up to three (3) art works. Max artwork size: 60” x 60” framed. Sculpture no heavier than 100 lbs. All media accepted. All work must be for sale with 40% commission to BDG.

CALL FOR ARTISTS All-MEDIA ARTISTS DEMO AND EXHIBITION
#27 SHOW & TELL 4
We are revisiting the last three year’s highly successful SHOW and TELL exhibitions with a new SHOW AND TELL4, scheduled from June 2 through June 30, 2012.
We are inviting proposals from artists working in all media. Please send images of your work and tell us how you would explain or demonstrate your work/techniques/materials to the general public. Twelve to fifteen artists will be chosen for this unique opportunity to show their work in the beautiful Blue Door Gallery and also be present to illustrate their techniques to the public on one Saturday each during the five week exhibition.

The exhibition will run from June 2, 2012 thru June 30, 2012 (5 weeks) Opening Reception: June 2, 2012 at Noon to 1:30pm Demonstrations begin at 1:30pm. Three exhibitors will give demonstrations and talks on each Saturday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

NEW YORK RIVERLIGHT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Call for artists and filmmakers
This summer sees the first Riverlight Film Festival open in Yonkers. Running with a video art exhibition at the gallery, the film festival will be screening it's selected films at a brand new state of the art cinematic screening room, that seats up to 400, located in the Yonkers Library.The festival will be a wonderful celebration of art and film in the community.
Firstly - we are looking for artists to design a logo with lettering for the festival, this will go on all the advertising materials of the festival and have massive exposure for the winning logo. The logo must include an image and the lettering of the festival and the dates (see above - July 26th-August 4th). It is only $10 to enter this competition. The Film Festival is seeking submissions from film makers in the following categories: Feature: (60 mins+) Short Film: (30 mins or less) Student: (less than 15 mins)
PLEASE NOTE INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSIONS MUST HAVE ENGLISH SUBTITLES
Documentaries are welcomed and can be included in each of the categories. Student films must be made by students currently studying. Please include details of your education in your application.
